While the filing never names Starlink, it lays out exactly the kind of architecture the Cybercab is now demonstrating, hinting that satellite connectivity could eventually spread across Tesla's broader lineup as the company leans harder into software, autonomy and features like Teslas that learn each driver's individual preferences.

The timing is notable. Production Cybercabs are already rolling off the line at Gigafactory Texas without steering wheels or pedals, and Tesla has been steadily building toward public rides. A robust satellite backbone removes one more excuse to wait.

A Milestone Heading Into Earnings
