SAN FRANCISCO — SpaceX Super Intelligence has pulled its sprawling software lineup under a single banner, launching The X Subscription that bundles Grok, the Grok Bot, the Cursor coding tool and X Premium into one tiered plan. The move, from the unit formerly known as SpaceXAI and now called SpaceXSI, simplifies a product stack that until now required users to juggle several separate memberships.
One Plan, Five Tiers
The lineup runs from a free tier, which offers daily Grok access and a starter Cursor allowance, up through four paid levels: Plus at $8 a month, Premium at $30, Super at $100 and Ultra at $200, with Premium also available annually at $300. Usage scales sharply with price, as Premium carries four times the Plus allowance, Super fifteen times and Ultra fifty times. Paid plans share a single weekly usage pool across Grok and Cursor, while third-party models inside Cursor are billed separately at API list prices. The company says Premium alone covers what SuperGrok, Cursor Pro and X Premium+ used to cost separately, a bundle that previously ran about $90 a month. The consumer push lands just as the company has been widening Grok's reach, including the recent rollout we covered when Grok voice mode opened to everyone.
Cursor Comes In From the Cold
The bundle also clarifies the future of Cursor, which SpaceX agreed to buy for $60 billion when it exercised an option in June and closed the deal in August. Folding Cursor into The X Subscription gives the popular coding assistant a durable home, a notable reassurance after OpenAI said it would cut Cursor's access to its models on November 12. By routing Grok and Cursor through one shared allowance, SpaceXSI is nudging developers toward its own frontier models, the same family advancing in our preview of Grok 5's longer memory and faster reasoning.
